in 1963. The Company was originally located in Luverne, Minnesota until it was moved to its present
Brandon, South Dakota facility in 1985. The Company currently operates out of two adjacent buildings
with a total of 181,000 square feet of manufacturing (153,000 square feet) and administrative space

The Company has two principal businesses whose brand names are nationally known and respected. The truck
equipment product line, Luverne, offers a broad base of upscale aftermarket accessories for pickups
and sport utility vehicles. Its primary products are made from high quality Stainless Steel and powder
coated steel. The Company’s products include rear bumpers, grille guards, nerf bars, side entry steps,
cab guards, splash guards, bed rails, grille inserts, and similar products for most pickups, vans
and sport utility vehicles, and Tuff Guards for semi-tractors.
The Company’s RETRAC division manufactures exterior mounted mirrors for truck original
equipment manufacturers and for an aftermarket of light, medium and heavy-duty trucks,
busses, vans, pickups, and specialized truck vehicles.
The Company’s new APM Automotive division manufactures ram air hoods and spoilers made
of blow molded plastic (ABS).
PROPER CARE AND MAINTENANCE
As with any outdoor product, proper care is essential for maintaining the high luster
and corrosion properties of stainless steel. The stainless steel we use at is from a
300 series grade. This is one of the most durable metals produced
for outdoor use. Nature, however, can and will fade or tarnish the appearance of any
polished finish. In rare cases, the appearance of rust can form on the polished finish.
The “surface rust” as it’s called, is simply elements found in nature that oxidizes on our
finish. We recommend regular cleaning with soap and water. The use of a regular car wax
applied every three months will normally provide a slick, protective barrier that will not
allow the oxidizing elements to rest upon our products. We strongly recommend these
preventative measures to allow you to enjoy our products for years.
